How a commission runs

One shop, start to finish

You deal with one person from first sketch to final bolt. Design, engineering, fabrication, finishing and installation all happen under one roof, so nothing gets lost between trades.

  1. Concept

Site photos or a visit, then sketches and a rendered concept you can approve.

  2. Engineer

Shop drawings, structure and code checks, coordinated with your architect or builder.

  3. Fabricate

Cut, formed and welded in our Cowichan Valley shop.

  4. Finish

Sandblast and powder coat in house, or forged and blackened by hand.

  5. Install

Our crew and our own excavator handle footings, setting and automation.

For artists & designers

Your vision, engineered to stand

Artists and designers bring us drawings, maquettes and ideas at every scale. We turn them into buildable steel and aluminum: fair curves, hidden seams, structure that suits the site, and a finish that lasts outdoors.

  • Vector clean-up and cut files from your artwork
  • Structural backing, mounting and connection details
  • Coordination with architects, builders and project teams
  • Credit stays with the artist
